Fat Lava has gone global. Since the first ever exhibition of mid-century modern West German ceramics was held to great acclaim in 2006, the area has witnessed an explosion of interest. Thousands of keen collectors have emerged in countries across the world and, with that, knowledge and understanding have moved on at an enormous and exciting pace.
Much more is now known about the factories, designers and designs produced during this incredibly innovative period. From 30th May until 26th June, much of this new information will be revealed at a second exhibition held online and in realtime. Be part of this remarkable revolution and join us for our program of interactive, international and educational events.
Mark Hill is taking part in an exhibition which launches at the end of the month. You'll find more information HERE. Mark has helped to put together this fascinating video.
